Kia Rio: Audio Remote Control Removal

Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

Remove the driver airbag module.
(Refer to the RT group - "DAB and Clock spring")

| 3. |
Remove the steering wheel.
(Refer to the ST group - "Steering column & shaft")
|
| 4. |
Remove the steering wheel cover (A) after loosening 6 screws.
|
| 5. |
Remove the remote control switch (B) after loosening 2 screws
and disconnecting the connector (A).

Audio Remote Control Inspection
1.
Check the audio remote control switch (A) for resistance between
No.5 and No.7 terminals in each switch position.
