WCS classifies the front passenger side seat by measuring physical weight loaded onto the front passenger side seat. It is composed of 2 weight sensors of strain gauge type and an ECU which gathers information of weight sensors, calculates the measured weight and makes decisions of the classification of the passenger. It is installed on the left side (inner position in vehicle) of the seat track assembly fastened with respective mounting bolts and nuts.
